If you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, then you’ll be interested to see what December adds to the Instant Game Collection.
Earlier this month, Sony teased some of the free games we could expect from PlayStation Plus in December and January. Alongside the promised Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition and Secret Ponchos, both coming to PS4, Plus subscribers can expect four more titles to be offered for free across Sony’s other platforms.
The PlayStation blog has revealed that Hitman HD Trilogy will be available on PS3. The collection includes Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts, and for the first time on a PlayStation format, Hitman: Blood Money.
Also free for PS3 owners will be the mysterious, open-world of Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut, featuring redefined graphics, a complete control overhaul, and all 12 pieces of DLC from the original cult hit.
The PlayStation Vita will offer Final Horizon, a story ranging across planets and solar systems, told in what has been described as “2 minute tower defense.”
And to round out the month’s loot, Titan Attacks, a modern remix of classic arcade shoot-em-ups, will be available on all three platforms.
If you still haven’t picked up November’s PS Plus games, be sure to do so before the month comes to a close. You still have a chance to download some excellent titles, including The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, which got a 8.4 review score here on MONG.
Every month feels like an excuse to get lost in a slew of new games. December’s lineup feels like the first big push to incentivize holiday shoppers to buy PlayStation and to subscribe to PS Plus.
With these titles to keep me busy, I won’t have time to anticipate what will certainly be an even greater offering, come January.
