Earlier this year we saw the remastered versions of Final Fantasy X/X-2 come to PlayStation 3 and Vita, but now rumor has it that these games may see a release on the PlayStation 4.
A listing on the French version of the Square Enix Boutique digital storefront suggests this, though the listing has since been taken down. Game Informer reached out to Square Enix but they refused comment and only stated that they were looking into the matter.
Over the weekend, Square Enix came on stage during the PlayStation Experience keynote and announced that Final Fantasy VII was coming to PS4. Fans were a bit upset though as it is only the PC port and not a complete remake.

I don’t have much to say in regards to this one. I own the FFX/X-2 remaster on Vita and have yet to finish it, though FFX is probably my favorite in the series. This is good news for anyone who is looking to get back into these titles and doesn’t have a PS3 or Vita. Square Enix seems to enjoy putting out ports lately, and that’s probably because they sell.
