Geekend Update 12/11/15

Weekends are meant strictly for gaming and all things fun; at least that’s what we think. Here is where you can find out all of our crazy plans for the upcoming weekend!

Harry Loizides, Executive Editor: Despite having a very busy weekend, I’ll be sure to get my fix of Star Wars: Battlefront and working my way through The Walking Dead. Needless to say, I’m loving my PlayStation 4!

Esteban Cuevas, Associate Editor: I got into Battlefield 3 this past week so I’ll play some more of that. Also, I started up The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion again and I want to take the rest of the year really getting into it and maybe even finishing it. Finally, as a big Sonic fan, I’ve had an urge to play a Sonic game, so I’m going to start up Sonic Adventure 2 again. I have it on the PC so it’ll look extra good!

Jesse Webster, Senior Writer: Because we are moving, I might not be able to play anything. I might dip my toe into Resident Evil HD, but I’m not sure.

Aaron Dobbe, Associate Writer: This is the first weekend in a while that I’ll get to relax! I’ll be playing Pokémon Picross and Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition. I’ve been wanting to replay Trauma Team for a long time now, so I might start on that as well!

Charlie Savidge, Associate Writer: On Friday I watched Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back with my school’s Star Wars Club. Other than that I’m going back to Star Wars Battlefront II and studying for my midterm exams.

Christian Glass, Associate Writer: Christian won’t be participating in this week’s Geekend Update because of crippling, blackout excitement about Star Wars. He has only happy vomited about it twice this week, and he is proud of this. He will recuperate by getting platinum trophies in Grim Fandango and Bastion.

Chris Cobb, Associate Writer: I’ll be running my frozen ass all over the planet Hoth in Star Wars: Battlefront, alone, because no one believes in how fun it is. Otherwise I’ll be trying to bust through that pesky writer’s block to make progress on my novel. Oh, and I’ll be spending money I don’t have on Christmas presents, so there’s that too. Grumblegrumblehumbug…

What are YOU playing?
