Knack is a platform beat ‘em up video game developed by Japan Studio that was released worldwide at the launch of the PlayStation 4. It was developed in cooperation with Mark Cerny, the lead architect of the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. He is also known for his work on Crash Bandicoot, Jak and Daxter, Spyro the Dragon, and Ratchet and Clank.
Killzone: Shadow Fall is a launch title for the PlayStation 4 worldwide. North America and Europe saw the game released on November 15th and 29th respectively and Japan will see it on February 22, 2014. Killzone is a science fiction first-person shooter video game series developed by Guerilla Games that dates back to the PlayStation 2 in 2004. This is the fourth game in the series to be released on a home console.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag was released on October 29, 2013 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U. It was subsequently a release day game for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Like the rest of the games in the Assassin’s Creed series, this one is also a historical action-adventure open world video game both developed and published by Ubisoft. This entry in the series is a sequel to Assassin’s Creed III but is a prequel to its story.
Resogun is a PlayStation 4 exclusive indie game developed by Housemarque; the same developer who made Super Stardust HD. It is considered a side scrolling shoot ‘em up game and was released on November 15th in North America. It was released as one of the two free PlayStation Plus games at the launch of the PlayStation 4.
I know what you’re thinking “Wow, another Call of Duty…shocker!” Oh but they aren’t done dragging it out just yet. Call of Duty: Ghosts is a brand new arc developed by Infinity Ward. Contrast is a 3D puzzle platformer indie video game developed by Compulsion Games. It was released on November 15, 2013 on PlayStation 4 as one of the two free PlayStation Plus titles and will be released on November 19, 2013 for PlayStation 3.
