Killzone: Mercenary Gets Two Free Multiplayer Maps In New Update

Killzone: Mercenary received a new free update today that was announced last year that added two maps from Killzone 2 into its map rotation.

On the Killzone forum today, developer Guerilla Cambridge revealed that the free maps are Tharsis Depot and Blood Gracht, which were very popular, fan favorites from the 2009 PS3 exclusive, Killzone 2.

It should be noted that these are not in the form of DLC, but an update, which means you won’t be able to play multiplayer again until you download the update. For those who have all prior patches installed, the update will require free space of 167MB. Players who haven’t kept their game up-to-date will need an available 526MB.

Killzone: Mercenary is available now at both retail and digital.

My Opinion

I don’t have Killzone: Mercenary yet (I need to get it though!), but I’m always up for free maps! Especially those two, which were some of my favorites from Killzone 2.
