Bloober Team’s Marketing Manager, Aron Cender recently sat down for an Interview with Gamepur.com and talked about their recently released PlayStation 4 exclusive title, Basement Crawl, the power of Playstation 4, and most notably, the upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive The Order: 1886.
In case you weren’t aware, The Order: 1886 is a very, very pretty game. The game uses 4XMSAA Tech, which Cender says is an “expensive and demanding feature capable of drying out powerhouse PCs as well.”
On this note, Gamepur asked Cender if games like The Order 1886 are maxing out the PlayStation 4, to which Cender replied: “I don’t think it’s maxing it out, but I believe it should be pretty close to it. I hope we are gonna see more games of that visual quality in the future, since that was the reason next-gen was introduced.”
Cender also went on to praise certain aspects of The Order: 1886, including the lighting, environment details, and animations, among other things. Ceder claimed that these effects wouldn’t be possible on any other platform except for PC.
The Order: 1886 is an upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive that will launch sometime later this year. We don’t have a firm release date, but my money is on November.
My Opinion
The Order: 1886, in my opinion, is the best looking next gen game shown so far. A title previously held by the Xbox game, Ryse: Son of Rome. So it is no surprise that the game is somewhat pushing the PlayStation 4 to its limits. Though I certainly think it hasn’t been maxed out yet, and that we will continue to see amazing looking games on the system beyond The Order.
