Bandai Namco has revealed that Tales of Xillia 2 will be released on August 22 in North America on the PlayStation 3.
It was also revealed that the game will have a Collector’s Edition available for $129.99 that contains a figure of the protagonist Ludger Kresnik, an art book, a Rollo the cat metal case, and a replica of the pocket watch from the game.
The Day One Edition will receive an exclusive metal case and a soundtrack with the game.
My Opinion:
It’s about time they announced the release date! We knew this game was coming West last year before the first Tales of Xillia was even released. That being said, I have been predicting all along that it would be released in August since the first game was released last August. It only made sense to release it a year later. Also, I find this release date sort of crumby because it is literally the first week of school for most people (me included), so it will be tough to get a lot of playing time in.
