Weekends are meant to be used strictly for gaming; at least that’s what we think anyways. So here is where you can find out all of our crazy plans for the upcoming weekend! Are you playing any of the games we are?
Courtney Osborn, Founder & Editor in Chief:
In my free time I might play a little Mario Kart 8 on my new Wii U. Add me on Nintendo Network at osborn2009.
After that, I plan to either start Final Fantasy X-2 HD or Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World HD for review. I am super excited to play them both, so it will be tough to decide which one to play first. Should I make a Let’s Play series out of either? Let me know in the comments below!
Lou Contaldi, Senior Editor:
Nothing. I’m off the grid this weekend at Firefly. If you are out in Dover, Delaware, give me a shout!
Shawn Richards, Editor:
Ever heard of Magical Beat? No? Well, I am playing it for review, if you would like to check it out next week. Other than that, my gaming will not be active as I will be working and doing other things because of money. In any case, follow me on Twitter @LittleBigHamm where I will be cooking up something for the gaming world to experience or just talking about my mediocre life.
Steven Shearer, Editor:
Not much gaming this weekend. Most of my time will be watching the World Cup and maybe a few games of FIFA in between that!
Ryan Latuso, Editor:
I’m still chipping away at Watch Dogs. Most of my time will be spent playing 3DS and Wii U. I have a bunch of games I have been playing but mostly Bravely Default, Zelda 1 2nd quest, Mario Kart, and Mario 3D World.
Dustin LaRoe, Editor:
I’ll be chasing Vaas in Far Cry 3 because I gotta clean out my Steam backlog. Also I’ll be tempting myself with the Steam Summer Sale till July. Oh my god, my entire wishlist is on sale!
I also plan on trying out the Battlefeild: Hardline beta, cause it’s available and I have a story on it. Check it out if you are curious.
I will also be plugging away in Mario Kart 8 as well as Mario Golf.
Benjamin Luthi, Editor:
This weekend will be all about gaming with friends: Mario Kart, Trials Fusion, and Day Z. I’ll also be trying to keep myself from going into debt for the Steam Summer Sale. No promises.
When all my friends get tired of me being terrible, I’ll probably dive back into NES Remix 2. I’ll probably bust out the ol’ N64, too. Can’t go wrong with that!
Myles Farrington, Editor:
I got a job! No more sad Myles! Until I realize how many taxes get taken out of my paycheck. Regardless, without the Destiny Alpha I still feel a little lost in the world, but I’ll find something to do with my weekend. Hopefully I’ll start working, it’s not like I do anything else on the weekends.
Aaron Dobbe, Editor:
I plan on replaying Persona 3 FES, in anticipation of the upcoming Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth. Beyond that, I’ll be hopping online with Mario Kart 8 as well as trying to learn the shiny new DLC character Phase 4 in Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate. As always, feel free to add me on Nintendo Network at Lavos5 and/or PSN at Eclns!
Landon Luthi, Editor:
With the excitement of a PC version of Grand Theft Auto 5 coming out soon, I plan on celebrating my weekend by doing some online sidewalk surfing in my new Bravada Buffalo S. The Vapid Dominator cringes at the sound of the Buffalo S, as it is the lesser predator. Bravada continues their quality by making a vehicle that can stay ahead of that 5-star wanted level with the help of their 485 HP powerhouse.
If you haven’t played GTA5 for a couple of months, I would highly recommend launching it again. The latest ‘hipster’ update gives you an opportunity to buy Franklin’s Bravada Buffalo S, used in online play, for about 95,000 online bucks. This can be easily acquired with 2.99$ of real American cash, or 100,000$ of online paper.
There are other things that the new update brought us, but why would you care when you have a car that is born to rule the sidewalks of Los Santos?
Oh, and I forgot to mention how Steam is successfully eating my wallet. SUMMER SALE BABY!
