People who pre-ordered the Oculus Rift Development Kit 2 (DK2) will soon be receiving their orders.
Around 10,000 of the 45,000 people that pre-ordered the Oculus Rift DK2 should expect it to be at their address sometime next week (7/14-18). However, due to the large amount of orders and manufacturing delays, some people who were expecting it in July may have to wait a little longer to receive their DK2.
My Opinion:
This is good news for developers who have ordered the DK2 as they will finally get their hands on it and that can only be a good thing! It will be interesting to see where virtual reality goes in the next couple of years.
