Pirated copies of Far Cry 4 are missing a certain feature.
Some Far Cry 4 players are complaining that the game lacks an option for field of view. That seems like a big oversight on Ubisoft’s part. Except the lack of the feature was on purpose.
That is a tweet from Alex Hutchinson, the man who directed Far Cry 4. The feature was added in a day one patch, which the pirated copies do not have. It is possible that players who pirated the game can get the patch now, but it is amusing to see they accidentally revealed themselves.
My Opinion:
Seeing that so many people have already pirated the game does make me a little upset. Still, seeing developers mess with them like this is always funny. Far Cry 4 is one of the least punishing examples of developers doing this. Some of the other examples are pretty hilarious.
Riley Berry obtains all of his games legally, but he also wears an eyepatch while doing it. Eyepatches are the only cool things about pirates. You can follow him on IGN.
