The pre-order bonuses include (as detailed on the PlayStation Blog):

  • ‘Fedora’ Messenger Skin:
    • Messengers deliver unique messages left by fellow journeymen to aid you on your quest, or fool you into making a fatal mistake. This Messenger is wearing a Fedora Hat and appears to you and other users when you leave a message in-game.
  • ‘Bandages’ Messenger Skin:
    • Messengers deliver unique messages left by fellow journeymen to aid you on your quest, or fool you into making a fatal mistake. This Messenger is wearing Bandages over their heads and appears to you and other users when you leave a message in-game.
  • Bloodborne ‘Saw Cleaver’ SteelBook:
    • The Bloodborne SteelBook features unique artwork by From Software on the inside and out, and is exclusively available as a pre-order incentive.

Note: As of right now, the Nightmare Edition and pre-order bonuses have only been confirmed for Europe.  We have reached out to Sony and will update the story when we hear back.

Bloodborne is scheduled to release exclusively on PlayStation 4 on March 24th in North America and March 25th in Europe.

My Opinion:

Unfortunately none of the bonuses in the two editions really appeal to me besides the digital soundtrack.  That being said, collector’s editions rarely entice me anyways.  Hopefully the Nightmare Edition and pre-order bonuses get announced for North America so that fans over here can enjoy them though.
