Over at the PlayStation Blog, it was announced that a slew of new games would be coming to the PlayStation Now subscription service starting today.
The full list of games being added are: Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, God of War II HD, Red Faction: Armageddon, Galaga Legions DX and Arcana Heart 3. The blog also stated that game additions will be a recurring thing, as each month they will announce more titles for subscribers to stream to their Sony devices.
PlayStation Now is currently available on the PlayStation 4 and is also in open beta on PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and PlayStation TV. The subscription model was recently added to the service for those who don’t want to rent the games individually, which can be rather costly. The subscription will cost you $19.99/month and $44.99 for a 3-month package.
You don’t need to be a PlayStation Plus subscriber to use the PlayStation Now service, which is nice for players who don’t like the Plus service or are indifferent to online multi-player.

My Opinion:
Up until now, PlayStation Now (no pun intended) has felt like an afterthought. The service was announced, and eventually released without much buzz around it. The only real buzz was the outrageous rental costs.
The addition of the subscription plan was great, although it’s something that should have been in place since day one. It would be wise of Sony to stick to their word and stay focused on adding games each month so that the service remains in the peripheral vision of today’s gaming community.
