The time traveling focused visual novel will be released in North America soon.

On August 25th, Steins;Gate will be available for PlayStation 3 and Vita. For anyone who wants some collectibles, a limited “El Psy Kongroo Edition” can be purchased. However, it can only be found at Rice Digital and it is limited stock. It contains these items:

• Steins;Gate Limited edition
• Gorgeous, premium quality 124-page art book featuring CG and Key Artwork
• Double Pin Badge Set for new Future Gadget Lab members
• Exclusive Metal Upa Replica
• Badge Set and Metal Upa Presentation Box

For now, the limited edition is the only physical version available for pre-order. Since the release date is so close, it would seem that the only way to purchase the regular version will be digitally.

The game follows wannabe-mad scientist Rintaro Okabe, and his group of friends, who discover they can send text messages back in time. Eventually, they mess with time too much and get themselves into a dire situation.

My Opinion:

The Steins;Gate anime adaption is one of my favorite animes, so being able to play the actual game excites me. I am still debating whether or not to pick up the limited edition.
