Square Enix has announced that the highly anticipated HD remake of Final Fantasy X/X-2 will hit store shelves on March, 18th 2014 in North America, and March, 23rd in Europe. The game will be available on the given date on both the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Vita. On the PlayStation Vita, you will have to buy them separately, but they come bundled together on the PlayStation 3 though.

Originally, the game was expected to be released in late 2013, but was delayed until early 2014 for unknown reasons.

The game will, as with most HD remakes, retail for $39.99 on both platforms.

My Opinion

I have no opinion. I’ve never played a Final Fantasy game before. Though I find it strange that they are being released separately on the Vita. They could have done some type of bundle.
