Well after over a year of waiting, we finally have a release date for the highly anticipated MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online. PC players will be able to log in starting April 4th, 2014. Not very far off. But what about the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions you ask? Well we’ll be able to play those sometime in June, 2014, though we don’t have a release date yet.
Earlier this year, the upcoming game caused quite a controversy when it was announced that the game would require a $15 a month subscription fee, while that may sound strange bear in mind that the game is still costs $60, the full price for a retail game. Many were expecting the game to be released at a discount, though this does not seem to be the case.
My Opinion
Personally, the third entry in the series, Morrowind is my all time favorite game, and Skyrim was my favorite game from last gen. So I am very excited to finally be able to go to many of the new places offered in the MMO. Though I disagree with it being priced at $60, it should be at least $40. The release date is fine as well, I won’t be playing until June though, as my PC isn’t nearly capable of running the game
