Nintendo has announced that Yoshi’s New Island will be available on March 14th in North America.

The game will be available for the Nintendo 3DS at retail and digitally through the Eshop on the aforementioned date.

Yoshi’s New Island was announced nearly a year ago, in April of 2013. The game tasks Yoshi with carrying baby Mario through a variety of different locations throughout the game.

Nintendo has not given any word on a European release date yet. Though a release date for that region is expected very soon.

My Opinion

Unfortunately, I don’t have a 3DS, so I won’t be able to play this one. Though I would certainly pick it up if I did have one. The game looks great though, and I hope people enjoy it.
