Titanfall Will Not Be 1080p On Xbox One

The resolution controversy never seems to end. As of today, we have received official confirmation from Vince Zampella’s Twitter account confirming that Titanfall on the Xbox One will not be 1080p.

Rumors have been circulating since the beta ended that the game would receive a resolution boost before launch, and even the beta itself ran at the strange resolution of 792P. But the creator of the game, Vince Zampella has put those suspicions to rest.

Also, producer Drew McCoy commented on the resolution flair up: “I don’t know how many times it can be stated clearly and officially”… “those claims are false, have been false, and will continue to be false,”

Titanfall will launch on March 11th for the Xbox One & PC, and the Xbox 360 version will be released later in the month.

My Opinion

I really don’t have much to say, because I’m not surprised. We all know that the Xbox One has a difficult time running 1080p; not that it can’t be done, but it’s simply more difficult to do, and Respawn just didn’t have the time to get the game to the resolution stated above.
