According to a tweet by Evolution Studios, their upcoming racing game Driveclub could be coming sooner than we thought.

Driveclub could be released on April 9th, according to their tweet, which was soon removed from their account. A PlayStation Nation member that goes by the name 100mph managed to take a screenshot of the tweet which you can see below:

The tweet reads “Mark your calendars! 9.4.14” Though this is more likely April 9th, as Evolution is a British based studio.

Driveclub was originally supposed to launch alongside the PlayStation 4 in 2013, but was delayed with no real explanation. Shuhei Yoshida later explained that the delay was due to difficulties surrounding the games ambitious social features.

My Opinion

I don’t like racing games at all, but I know a lot of people do, and for them, I hope the game turns out well. And hopefully this is the release date, as it certainly couldn’t hurt,
