ORIGINAL STORY:

The rumor regarding The Last of Us coming to the PlayStation 4 appears to be true.

A banner ad appeared on the Sony Entertainment Network Online Store early this morning revealing that The Last of Us: Remastered will cost $60.  After clicking on the link however, it goes to a “page not found”.

This all but confirms the rumors started last month by PlayStation’s Eurasian Software Market Manager, Sercan Sulun.  However, there is still no word on a release date or if it will actually include the DLC.

My Opinion:

Just about everyone expected this to happen.  It is hard to imagine the (arguably) best game on the PlayStation 3 not coming to the PlayStation 4.  I will be one of the many buying a second copy of The Last of Us; it is time to go pre-order it!  The Last of Us is not only my favorite PS3 game, but my favorite game ever.

  1. It’s about time! The PS4 really needs more big titles like this one if they want to attract more people that are still playing on the PS3/360.
