Xbox Live’s Major Nelson announced on his blog that Saint’s Row: The Third and Dust: An Elysian Tail will be the two free games in May for Xbox Live Gold members.

Starting today, Dust: An Elysian Tail (normally $14.99) will be free until May 15th.  Then on May 16, Saint’s Row: The Third (normally $19.99) will be free until May 30th.

The Games With Gold program provides 2 free games for Xbox Live Gold members each month on the 1st and 16th.  So remember to at least download these while they are available so you can have them for later!

My Opinion:
It is a good move on Microsoft’s part to release these as free.  I have heard nothing but great things about both, but sadly haven’t had the time to play either.  If you are a Gold subscriber, I recommend grabbing both of these immediately.  It is cool to finally see Games With Gold starting to catch up with PlayStation Plus, though it still has a ways to go.
