Sword Art Online: Hallow Fragment Will Include HD Remake of Prequel

Good news!  Bandai Namco announced that this summer’s PlayStation Vita game, Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment, will include an HD remake of the PSP prequel, Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment.

Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment was never localized for the West when it was originally released, so this will be the first time most people (who don’t speak Japanese) get to play it.

This comes as a surprise, as we only previously knew that we were getting Hollow Fragment, and even that was a surprise when it was announced.

Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment will be released sometime in summer 2014 as a two-in-one PlayStation Vita downloadable title only.

My Opinion:
The PlayStation Vita seems to be exploding with good news lately.  It was huge to hear that Hollow Fragment was going to be coming over to the West, and now the package is sweetened with an HD remake of its prequel?  Holy crap.  Bandai Namco has been on fire!
