A new Dragon Ball Z game is currently in development by Bandai Namco for the PlayStation 4.

 

According to an article in V Jump and reported by Siliconera, details are scarce at this point. However, pictures of several characters, like Goku, Vegeta, and Frieza, are shown in the magazine. What type of game this will be or whether or not it will release in the states has yet to be announced.

 

 

Even though the game was announced for PS4, it will also be released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

 

My Opinion:

 

Dragon Ball Z has always been a rollercoaster when it comes to games. With the PS4 in the mix, it should be a good one. The odd thing to take from this news is the fact that the Xbox One has not been mentioned, although that could be because the Japanese audience may not gravitate towards the new Microsoft console. Still, this is amazing news.
