Are you jealous of those invited to the Super Smash Bros. Invitational? Well, fret not, Nintendo is giving you an opportunity to join the tournament as well.

Yesterday, on Nintendo’s various social media pages, Big N announced the Super Smash Bros. People’s Challenger Contest. The grand prize? Two roundtrip tickets to LA, VIP passes to the Super Smash Bros. tournament, three-day passes to the E3 show floor, and the opportunity to face-off against the winner of the invitational.

Your mouth salivating yet? So what’s the catch?

To enter, upload a video file (of your own creation) to Instagram explaining why you deserve to win!  Additionally, make sure to add the caption:  “My name is <FIRST NAME> and this is my submission for the Super Smash Bros. People’s Challenger Contest. #SmashChallengerApproaching #NintendoContestEntry.”

Some notable restrictions are the following:

• Music is optional, however it has to be self-owned or Nintendo owned.
• No other brands are allowed in the video other than the Nintendo brands.
• The video must be suitable for all ages.

My Opinion:

I half didn’t want to post this because it adds more competition to my submission. That being said, this. is. AWESOME. It is great to see Nintendo pulling strings to make these opportunities happen for their fans. I’m out for blood, so good luck to those in my way.
