In a comment on the Rockstar Newswire, Rockstar apologized for the delay of the Grand Theft Auto: Online’s multiplayer heists feature.
IGN previously reported that this feature had a target release date of Spring 2014.
GTA: Online recently resurfaced in the news this week with the release of its I’m Not A Hipster content update which featured several additions to the game.
Some notable additions were:
· New costumes
· 7 new vehicles
· 10 existing vehicles
· 12 new jobs
My Opinion:
Rockstar can do no wrong. While a delay of a highly anticipated feature is a hard pill to take, a batch of fresh and free DLC for a game is a nice way to ease the discomfort. Remember that this is free content for a free game mode that is larger than any game released this year (I’m estimating here). I had a blast with GTA: Online when I finally got access on the Xbox 360. I’m eager to revisit it on my Xbox One when we get the re-release.
Dustin LaRoe is pretty awful at games. If you want proof, watch him on Twitch as Guy105. His Gamertag and Steam ID are Guy 105.
