The Forbidden Planet bookstore has added a very limited edition Alien: Isolation art book to its store titled The Art of Alien: Isolation.

“The Art of Alien: Isolation is a high-end art book featuring over 300 images from the latest game in the critically and commercially acclaimed Alien franchise…This book is the ultimate gallery of the game, a must-have for any fan.” the store page reads.

There are only 500 copies of the limited edition available worldwide, and each book comes with Bradley Wright’s (concept artist behind Alien: Isolation) signature. Each book retails for approximately $61.34.

For those of us unwilling to spend the money or too late to the party, there is a standard edition available for $32.70.

My Opinion:

My hopes are so high for this game that I’d be tempted to grab an art book, though I think the price tag is a bit too steep for me. Plus, with only 500 available for preorder, I can’t imagine any are left over. Congratulations to those lucky few who do manage to snag this though; I can see this turning into a nice collectable item worth some money in the future.
