It’s official! Infamous: First Light will be released on August 26th in North America and August 27th in Europe.

August 26th was listed as the release date on the PlayStation Store for the last week but Sony hadn’t confirmed it until Sucker Punch Productions finally did in a tweet.

Infamous: First Light is a standalone DLC for Infamous: Second Son that will let players play as Fetch, the punk rock neon-powered girl from Second Son.

First Light will be one of the first games on PlayStation 4 that can be pre-loaded before release.

My Opinion:

Great! Another game during the last week of August!  Now I have Tales of Xillia 2 on August 19th, and the both Metro Redux and Infamous First Light on August 26th. Although I am complaining, I can’t wait to finally get to play this.  Neon powers were my absolute favorite part of Second Son.  I can’t wait to have an entire DLC based on it.
