YouTube has announced that soon content creators will be able to upload 60 frames-per-second videos. To debut this new feature, a Titanfall and Battlefield Hardline gameplay footage video was uploaded on to YouTube showcasing both their gameplay running at 60 frames-per-second.
The news was announced on the YouTube creator’s blog alongside a new feature known as the “Tip Jar” which allows individuals to make direct financial donations to their favorite YouTube content creators with the click of a button embedded on the video page.
My Opinion:
Gaming channels are some of the most widely viewed channels on YouTube, just look at the most subscribed YouTuber PewDiePie. These new features will enhance the YouTube experience with better gameplay videos and more direct interactivity between content creators and their fans.
