Twilight Princess Costumes Confirmed as DLC for Hyrule Warriors

Hyrule Warriors, the Legend of Zelda and Dynasty Warriors crossover is getting costumes modeled after the characters from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

According to Polygon, it seems the costumes will be part of different collector’s editions of the game when it launches. Each set is aptly named after a part of the Triforce: The Wisdom Set, The Power Set and The Courage Set.

The Twilight Princess Link costume will be available with purchase of the Courage Set, while the Zelda Twilight Princess costume will be available with the Wisdom Set. The Power Set has yet to be detailed, but if it follows the series to heart, I’d bet it will be some sort of DLC involving Ganondorf or Zant.

As of right now this content has only been announced for release in Japan. It is not yet known whether these costumes will be made available as a separate purchase or if they’ll make their way to other regions outside Japan. Hyrule Warriors launches September 26th in North America.

My Opinion:

Twilight Princess is my favorite Legend of Zelda game (yeah I said it), so seeing costumes from the game available for Hyrule Warriors gets me even more excited for this game. It also gives me hope that maybe Nintendo will do an HD remaster but I think thats more of a dream of mine than anything else. Either way, Hyrule Warriors looks to be a fun romp to hold us over until 2015 when the next real Zelda game will be released.
