A release date has been set for the latest DLC for Muramasa Rebirth in North American and Europe.  Fans can expect to see the third DLC chapter released in North America on July 15, followed a day later on July 16th in Europe.  Players assume the role of ninja Arashimaru, providing new moves and weapons in the DLC titled “A Spirited Seven Night’s Haunting.”  Right now Muramasa Rebirth is free in North America for Vita owners who subscribe to PS+.  A trailer highlighting the new character can be seen below.

My Opinion:

I have been a fan of developer Vanillaware for a while now.  Their art style is gorgeous and gives their games a look unlike any other.  I picked up the original game Muramasa: The Demon Blade back when it was released on the Wii.  Since the game will be free this month via PS+, I will be scooping it up on my Vita as well. Those beautiful visuals will really shine on the Vita’s OLED screen.  It is good to see the game ported to new systems with updated visuals for more gamers to experience.
