Blizzard has announced that Hearthstone’s first adventure expansion,Curse of Naxxramas, will be released on July 22nd.

The release date for Curse of Naxxramas comes shortly after the announcement of its pricing. Players will have access to the first area, the Arachnid Wing, for free if they play Curse of Naxxramas within the first month. Each wing afterwards will cost $6.99 or 700 in-gold.

Hearthstone players will be able to trek through the dark and dangerous dungeons of the undead Naxxramas, and will be able to fight familiar World of Warcraft bosses along the way. Curse of Naxxramas will offer 30 brand new cards, with 9 of them being class specific.

My Opinion:

I’ve already expressed my happiness that Hearthstone is expanding and providing a different way of playing the addictive card game. So, for the release date to be about a week away from today’s date makes me even more excited! The announcement is a little later than I would’ve liked, but the anticipation Blizzard put on players on waiting for Curse of Naxxramas’s release date certainly did the trick for me.
