Recently showcased on the Nintendo UK website, there seems to be more special items for anyone who gets a copy of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. But be careful, there’s a limited supply!
Nintendo announced that there will be exclusive steelbook versions of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire as well as a figure keyring for the legendary Pokémon of the game you purchase (Groudon for Pokémon Omega Ruby and Kyogre for Pokémon Alpha Sapphire), but only if you pre-order
Currently this is only for the UK, with no current announcements for other regions.
Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire will be available on November 21st in Japan, North America and Australia and November 28th in Europe.
My Opinion:
The steelbook looks very intense and has a high-quality feel. The keychain is also a nice little thing to showcase someone’s excitement of the game when they’re not playing. I am a little ticked off that nothing like this has been done for NA releases. Yea, Gamestop has the poster for NA, but UK already is getting an exclusive Nintendo 3DS XL as well as a scarf for Hyrule Warriors. This is a big reason why I haven’t pre-ordered any games that are on “my list” yet. The waiting game continues….
