World of Warcraft Anniversary Update

The 10 year anniversary for World of Warcraft has a set date now, but a little later than many of us anticipated. With the Warlords of Draenor releasing on November 13th, Blizzard has moved the 10 year anniversary event to begin on November 21st and end on January 6th.  As long as you log into your battle.net account during those times, you will receive the Molten Corgi vanity pet via mailbox in-game.

The November 21st event will also have the 40-player Molten Core raid for level 100 players, so that means you have seven days to get your character leveled up if you wish to partake in the raid.

The Core Hound mount will be a drop found in the level 100 Molten Core raid from November 21st to January 6th.

The Southshore vs. Tarren Mill battleground event will have two different brackets: one for levels 90-99, and another for level 100 players.  You may want to consider this event if you are interested in faction sensitive titles.  The Alliance players will be able to receive the title “Tarren Mill Terror” and Horde players will be able to earn the title of “Southshore Slayer.”

Blizzard did clarify that the new battleground will be available upon release of the new expansion, and the new pvp season will begin on Dec. 2nd as well as the Highmaul raid.

Warlords of Draenor will be the 5th expansion for World of Warcraft, and is set to release on November 21st.
