Weekends are meant strictly for gaming; at least that’s what we think. Here is where you can find out all of our crazy plans for the upcoming weekend!
Courtney Osborn, Founder & Editor in Chief:
I’ll once again be playing Fairy Fencer F and Destiny all weekend. However, not nearly as much as last weekend because I need to study for midterms. =(
Myles Farrington, Senior Editor:
My weekend is likely going to be fairly lacking in excitement. I’ve reached a bit of a peak when it comes to Destiny, the only new gear I need is Raid gear, but I don’t have a raiding team. There will likely be much resting and a bit of casual playing… sounds like a good weekend.
Shawn Richards, Associate Editor
I will be playing Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment and maybe some Resogun or something else. Can’t wait to play some more interesting games next week when I have some money. What game should I play, besides Destiny because I refuse to play a game without a substantial story again.
Jesse Webster, Senior Writer:
I’ll likely play Persona 4 Arena Ultimax and nothing else. I am going to try to get Shadow of Mordor, but I don’t know if I could or not.
Aaron Dobbe, Associate Writer:
Three games this weekend are going to be fighting over my attention and I’m honestly at a loss as to which is going to get it. Hyrule Warriors. Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. And of course, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. This is a serious dilemma.
Alex DeLaPena, Associate Writer:
Friday night I’ll be participating in the local co-op craziness that is Towerfall Ascension. The rest of the weekend I’ll be trying to play as much Shadow of Mordor as I can. Grudges will be developed against Urok captains that are probably too intense to harbor for virtual adversaries.
Audrey Lips, Associate Writer:
Well, I’ll be celebrating my 22 years of age this weekend so for half of the weekend I won’t be gaming. But for the other half, lately I’ve been getting back into Skyrim so I’ll probably play around with my new profile a bit. I’ll probably keep on grinding in Diablo III as well as I’m only on “Hard” mode (got, like, 5 more levels above that to beat!).
Benjamin Luthi, Associate Writer:
Well, assuming Amazon delivers on their release-day guarantee, I’ll be playing Smash Bros. If that doesn’t happen, then by golly, I’ll be playing something else. Like maybe Trials Fusion. Still can’t beat the last level on the 2nd DLC pack.
Dustin LaRoe, Associate Editor:
I’ll be playing through Shadows of Mordor for review, and then back to Destiny.
Jake Dekker, Associate Writer:
SMASH!! And maybe a little bit of Shadow of Mordor, but mostly Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS.
Landon Luthi, Associate Writer:
I just finished The Legend of Zelda: A link Between Worlds and it was fantastic! I was blown away by how alike the gameplay was to the SNES hit The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and was even more moved by the slick and shiny animations. I recommend this game to everyone. My weekend will consist of fishing, mingled with Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS.
Mike Bertrand, Associate Writer:
I will be burning through my backlog of 360 games to make room for the incoming sales in December. Saints Row: The Third, Mirror’s edge and Perfect Dark HD. Also chugging away through Crimson Dragon on Xbox One.
Noah Graham, Associate Writer:
Once again the majority of my weekend will be taken up by cricket but aside from that I’m going through Dark Souls one last time. If it doesn’t click for me this time then I’m going to have to let that series go, my heart just can’t take all the despair!
Tyler Bartlemus, Associate Writer:
I am personally working towards gearing my Guardian up for a planned Raid of VoG this weekend. So I have a lot of resource farming and Strikes to look forward to in the next few days. Apart from that, I may take a few hours to get into Shadow of Mordor if I get the chance.
