On the PlayStation Blog, Sony announced the ability to purchase Season Passes for the TV shows that you love to watch.

If you purchase a Season Pass you have immediate access to new episodes as soon as they air on TV. This feature is currently available on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Store via the web and phone. Season Passes will also be supported on PlayStation 4, select Sony Bravia TVs, and Blu-Ray players at a later time.

In celebration of the launch of the Season Pass feature, there will be featured sales on select TV shows from October 30th until November 17th.

My Opinion:

It’s not a revolutionary feature by any stretch but it is a welcome addition that helps bring PlayStation and its media offerings more on par with other competing media streaming sites.
