Feeling nostalgic? Duck Hunt, the Nintendo Entertainment System classic, is coming to Wii U Virtual Console.

First launched in 1985, Duck Hunt utilized the iconic Zapper light gun. This time around,the Virtual Console version will require a Wii remote.

The announcement came on the heels of the reveal of Duck Hunt as an official unlockable character for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.

A price and release date for the Virtual Console rendition of Duck Hunt has yet to be announced.

My Opinion:

Finally! I’m surprised it took this long for Duck Hunt to be re-released, particularly because its one of Nintendo’s most iconic peripheral-based games. Anyone still have their Wii-Zapper?
