Ready At Dawn Drops New The Order: 1886 Screenshots

The Order: 1886 is one of the most beautiful games that’s been announced and developer Ready At Dawn knows it. They’ve been fairly guarded with showing much of the game thus far, but they’ve revealed a couple of new things in some recent tweets. Rejoice!

Here we can see Ready at Dawn showing off a setting that had not been seen up until now. It appears to be a cathedral of some sort and stands as another testament to The Order’s graphical prowess.

If you’ve been wondering about game mechanics that The Order will feature, now you know that “Blacksight” is one of them. Not only does it sound cool, but it appears to be some kind of bullet time function. That’s just a theory, which is slightly supported by the bullet trail (for example) that can be seen in the image.

The Order: 1886 hits shelves on February 20, 2015 exclusively for the PlayStation 4.

My Opinion:
Eh. The most used word of this writer. I will NEVER be one of the people to claim that The Order: 1886 isn’t drop dead gorgeous, I don’t know who could, but I’m still not excited or impressed. I’m sure the game is going to be good, maybe not great, but I won’t be swayed to give Ready At Dawn any of my cash until they show me more… or release another God of War title.
