One of the most unique games revealed at PlayStation Experience this year was Drawn to Death. The PlayStation 4 exclusive title comes from David Jaffe, creator of such notable PlayStation titles as Twisted Metal and God of War. David Jaffe has a new studio, The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency, and a new IP for PlayStation gamers. Drawn to Death is a third-person arena shooter depicted with a unique sketchbook art style. The game is literally set inside the notebook of a high school student. Watch the trailer below to see the bizarre and demented sketches of high school youth come to life in violent fashion.
My Opinion:
I have to say, I really like the artstyle and concept behind Drawn to Death. While I’m not a big fan of arena shooters, this one has piqued my interest based solely on the presentation. The bizarre, creative, characters and environments remind me of Jaffe’s previous creation, Twisted Metal. If his latest title can deliver the same type of multiplayer mayhem fun that Twisted Metal provided, Jaffe will have another winner on his hands.
