The man who created the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Patrice Désilets, has revealed that he is working on a new AAA game.
While he didn’t reveal a lot about his new game, he did say that it will be a third-person historical-action-survival game.
Désilets also stated that his game would not be a small indie game, and that he still backs AAA games.
“Indeed AAA Games, I believe in them. I believe wholeheartedly that this medium we call “video games” can be a positive force for change in our society and that AAA quality gaming experiences have unmatched strength to achieve this.”
Last month Désilets announced the founding of his new studio, Panache Digital Games, so this appears to be their first game in development.
My Opinion:
Well he has my attention! Any time “historical” is mentioned, I immediately become interested. However, I am curious what exactly a historical-action-survival game might be like? Hmm.
