Nintendo UK has posted an ominous new commercial for the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D.

The live action commercial portents a lot of doom and gloom around the events of the game, highlighting the urgency of your quest, while feeling like something plucked out of a bygone era of video game advertising. Check out the trailer below:

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D will be released in the US on February 14th exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS.

My Opinion:

I love this trailer! It takes me back to my days as a kid, pouring through amazing looking advertisements in my old Nintendo Power magazines. While the commercial doesn’t really feature too much information about the game itself, it does a great job of making The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D look like a game that everyone urgently needs to have. Kudos to Nintendo for hitting the nostalgia sweet spot!
