Futurlab — developer of the successful Velocity 2X — has something “big” to share with us all, according to their official Twitter profile.

Earlier today, Creative Director James Marsden tweeted the following:

When asked by a fan if the announcement could be linked to a new Velocity game, Marsden advised that they are not working on a new Velocity, “yet”.

Marsden also later clarified that the time of the announcement will actually be 9am EST, and not 9am PST as initially reported.

So what could the announcement be? Stay tuned for our follow up story.

My Opinion:

I am terrible at guessing announcements, but I would like it to be a new IP. Velocity 2X was a great game, so I will be interested in whatever Futurlab does next.
