Attention all PlayStation 4 users in North America. This weekend, all online multiplayer games will be free to play, and won’t require the PlayStation Plus subscription. I repeat “FREE TO PLAY.”
Lead brand manager of PlayStation Plus, Asong Fong made this announcement today in a post on the PlayStation Blog, stating that from March 20th at 12:01am P.T to March 22th at 11:59pm PT, there will be no PlayStation Plus subscription required to play online multiplayer.
This is a great time for non-members of PlayStation Plus to try out the service, with Battlefield Hardline from Visceral Games launching this week along with other great titles such as Evolve and Call of Duty: Advance Warfare.
My Opinion:
This is great. I tip my hat my to Sony for offering such a amazing service for free from time to time. It is also a great way to bring in new subscribers and check out Battlefield Hardline. Are you playing Hardline this week?
