The Many Languages of Xbox

Want to learn a new language?  Xbox One has an app for that.

A new app called Discover Languages from Rosetta Stone will be making its approach on Xbox One in the near future.

The announcement from Rosetta Stone reports that one can learn English and Spanish from the app. It also states “virtual travel experiences teach you the vocabulary and grammar necessary for real-world interactions.”

Rosetta Stone also mentions that games are included to help one learn.  “In the Training Zone, you’ll solidify the concepts you encountered with study recommendations, cultural tips, phrasebooks, and of course, more games! Keep track of your achievements, and keep practicing until you get a perfect score.”

It is unknown at this time when Rosetta Stone will release more languages for their Xbox One app.

My Opinion:

Kids! This is the perfect opportunity to sucker your parents into buying an Xbox One.  Now you can learn words like ‘desgraciado’ and ‘perezoso’ to try and impress them some day.
