Five Nights at Freddy’s: The Final Chapter Announced

If you thought Five Nights at Freddy’s was a trilogy, think again.

Scott Cawthon has announced the fourth installment of the Five Night at Freddy’s saga via a photo on his website. Fans speculated early on that a picture of an empty floor signified a new game and, sure enough, one is being served up.

Five Nights at Freddy’s: The Final Chapter is set to appear on Steam (and presumably your favorite Let’s Player’s channel) on October 31, 2015.

My Opinion:

I was really happy when it was a trilogy. I think that three games suit the franchise. Now I really hope this is the end of FNAF. I really think that the novelty of this game is wearing thin and Scott can move on to different ideas. I don’t want him pigeonholed as the “Five Nights Guy”, and I don’t want the idea of the game to outstay its welcome. People already recognize that this is enough. Please give the games some time to breathe. Hopefully the eight months of development time will be enough for the reignition of the flame of fans. Also, I blame you for screwing up Game Theory… again!
