Lab Zero Announces Next Game Indivisible

Lab Zero Games, developers behind the critically acclaimed Skullgirls, have announced their next game IndivisibleShifting from their fighting game roots, Indivisible is an Action/RPG inspired by classic titles such as Valkyrie Profile and Super Metroid.  It stars Ajna, a young girl searching for the meaning behind her mysterious powers.  Along her quest Ajna will be joined by a variety of heroes supporting her cause, and gain new abilities for combat and traversal.

To help bring the world of Indivisible to life, Lab Zero has enlisted Secret of Mana composer Hiroki Kikuta to craft the soundtrack.  Crowdfunding for the title is expected to start in September via Indiegogo, with a playable prototype available around the same time.  Watch the video below to see a very early look at what to expect from Indivisible.

My Opinion:

I played Skullgirls on my PS3 and although I am not very good at it, I always admired the gorgeous hand-drawn 2D animation.  Indivisible looks to carry over those same impressive visuals, and maybe it will be a game I’m actually proficient at playing.  I look forward to seeing more of the title in the coming months.
