The Pixies “Where is my Mind” is currently receiving a lot of love in pop culture.  The piano cover of the song has been recently featured in television shows Mr. Robot and The Leftovers.  Now it pops up in Uncharted 4’s Man Behind the Treasure trailer.

The short CG video for the conclusion of Nathan Drake’s story debuted this past weekend in movie theaters before Star Wars: The Force Awakens.  During it, the famed treasure hunter contemplates his legacy amid a sea of destruction and chaos around him.  Check it out below.

 

 

My Opinion:

I can see why the song has been heavily featured as it is an emotionally haunting track.  The chaos of the scene depicted really sets the tone and stakes for Nathan Drake’s final ride.
