Recently Dice released a patch for the PC version of their first person shooter Battlefield 4, and today they released a patch for the PlayStation 3 & PlayStation 4 versions of the game.
Similarly to the recent PC patch, this update addresses balancing and stability. Also in the update is an increase to the damage from the stealth jets 25MM cannons, and a fix to make sure that the player that just killed you’s health is displayed properly on the kill card in game. It also adds ways to make the stealth jets handle more like each other. Another small addition are friendly markers being shown when they should be.
There are also fixes specific to each platform; like the flickering issue on the minimap on the PlayStation 4 version, and players spawning under the map on Lancang Dam. Over on the PlayStation 3 version, an animation issue that persists while you are aiming as the passenger on a dirt bike has been resolved, as well as a camera glitch that happens when changing weapons.
Battlefield 4 is available for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
Battlefield 4 was actually my very first PlayStation 4 game, and I played it for about a month, then all the bugs in the multiplayer killed the experience for me, so if this fixes all the bugs, I’ll most likely get back into it.
