UK based developer, Born Ready Games, has just announced a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release of their high-octane shooter, Strike Suit Zero: Director’s Cut.
Strike Suit Zero: DC show’s an interstellar war in the year 2299 being fought by titanic mechs called Strike Suits. The game focuses heavily on dog fights in space, pitting you against war ships and smaller space fighters.
Released a little over a year ago as a PC exclusive, the KickStarted Strike Suit Zero garnered generally positive reviews, holding a 65% on Metacritic and a 7.5 on IGN.
The Director’s Cut being released will feature a restructured campaign, all new ship models, enhanced lighting and textures, and a flurry of new suits and heroes.
The game is looking to be released in March with the starting price of $19.99 digitally. The game will also be making a similar PC re-release.
My Opinion
I’m really happy to hear this re-release coming out for some of the current-gen systems. At the moment, my PS4 has been acting as my Netflix machine. Further, Born Ready seems like they are trying to improve a lot of the issues seen in the original. I’m excited to see if they are able to make a bigger splash this time around!
