Weekends are meant to be used strictly for gaming; at least that’s what we think anyways. So here is where you can find out all of our crazy plans for the upcoming weekend! Are you playing any of the games we are?
Courtney Osborn, Founder & Editor in Chief:
This weekend I will be working my way through Final Fantasy X HD! I started it for the first time last weekend and was blown away by how well it plays/feels/looks for being over a decade old. I put about 15 hours into it last weekend and made it to the end of Chapter 5, so hopefully I can put at least that much into it this weekend. When I am not playing Final Fantasy this weekend I will be at the KU Football Spring Game or finishing a few essays for class next week. BLAH! #CollegeStudentLife

I’m spending this week stuck in the books–law school finals are coming up, and that means my life is hell. That doesn’t mean I’m not looking to blow off some steam though between cases!
Chances are, I’m going to be dividing my time between Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty HD on the PlayStation Vita and some multiplayer game. Some crazy stuff just went down regarding the russian ninja reveal and some major sobbing with a parrot, so it seems like I shouldn’t be taking a break now. I will also most likely try my hand at Warframe or maybe pick up some DC Universe Online on the PS4. If that sounds like your jam, I desperately need people to play with!Hit me up on PSN @KingLouieTrip.

Currently playing through Earth Defense Force 2025. Game is bloody brilliant in its own stupid way. Killing bugs with rocket launchers that don’t ever want to run out of ammo is fun. Cooping it with my brother, meaning I’m going to be anti-social and not invite any of you guys to play with us.
Going to be playing Halo 4 tonight with my bro. Not sure if I’ll be my customary drunk or not, but the odds are usually in that favor. Bourbon, metal music, and shitheads to kill. Good way to spend a Friday night.

Currently, this guy will be working, but I will still be playing through some Towerfall: Ascension and DC Universe Online while testing out some of the DLC and changes to PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Sorry, I’m a sucker for that game. If anyone wants to join in on the fun, they can contact me on PSN! The ID is the same as my Twitter handle: @LittleBigHamm!
Mark Merville, PC Editor:
Currently I am hopelessly addicted to Path of Exile and will be passing the time between work shifts, grinding away on some maps trying to hit the upper levels. If you are into ARPGs, I highly suggest you check it out–it is free to play and available on Steam. Aside from my PC addiction, my brother and I can be found running around the streets of Los Santos in GTA V on Xbox 360. If you’re in the mood for some shenanigans, hit me up. After basking in the glory that was Infamous: Second Son, and ‘platinuming’ it (#12!). I’ve been tempted to go back and play as Evil Cole in Infamous 2, as I originally never got around to doing so. Looking forward, there isn’t an abundant amount of games on the horizon. Giving all of us time to catch up on our backlogs, that I know we all have. My next couple of months will consist of Pokémon X, Unit 13, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Although, they’re all just fill-in games until Watch Dogs hits stores next month!
To keep up-to-date with what I’m doing, what I’m writing, and the games I’m playing, follow me @brettnll.
Live long, and prosper.

Humor is one of my better qualities. So in order to keep it fresh, I’ll be playing through South Park: The Stick of Truth this weekend. I expect one of two things to happen. One: I laugh so hard my heart explodes, resulting in a very awkward situation for my landlord; or two: my raucous and booming laugh echoes through both time and space, resulting in a “butterfly effect” scenario or the death of the universe.
If the universe doesn’t go into heat death; I’ll also be reading the books that The Witcher was based on. They’ve only recently been translated from Polish. I mention this only because it makes me sound incredibly erudite.

After far too long I have actually played through the first Mass Effect game. Now that that’s done, I will be trying my best over the next few weeks to push in the second and third installment. Finally finishing what everyone has been telling me is one of the greatest video game series of the last decade. On top of that I will be playing through Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, yet again, to look at the monuments for an upcoming blog!
