After revealing that Destiny cost over $500 million to develop and market, Activision also revealed that a public beta will be coming this summer.  

Players will officially get access to the public beta this July.

Destiny will be released on September 9th for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

My Opinion:
I know there are scores of people who can’t wait to get into this beta and finally try the next game by the legendary developers behind Halo.  I, however, am not one of them.  I know Destiny is going to be a great game, so rather than being excited about the public beta, I am excited about September 9th.  Let’s hope we get to see some awesome new trailers and demos at E3 this year.
