Microsoft has revealed some new details about their E3 press conference.  

The press conference will take place at 12:30 p.m. Eastern on June 9th.  According to Major Nelson, the press conference will be called “Xbox: Game On”.  He also said on his blog, “During the briefing, you’ll be treated to everything from in-depth looks at previously announced games to trailers for our unannounced games coming in 2014 and beyond.”

New head of Xbox, Phil Spencer revealed on Twitter earlier this week that both new IP and new sequels will be revealed at this year’s E3.

You will be able to watch Xbox: Game On on Xbox.com, Xbox Live, Windows Phone, and Spike TV on June 9th.

My Opinion:
It sounds like Microsoft is starting to get their act together.  I really like Phil Spencer and have high hopes for his ability to turn around the PR mess that Microsoft has had over the last year.  All signs point to them not repeating the train wreck that was last year’s E3.  I am super excited to hear about the new IP and new sequels that we don’t already know about! E3 is right around the corner! Are you ready?
